Today, February 8 - American Legion Home, Roast Beef Dinner beginning at 5 o'clock.

Thanks to Bill and Carol Mables for the set of Marion Gas & Oil bowls. They are on their way to Jennie's House - in the pantry.

Sugar Maple trees yield their harvest in late winter when the days are warmer, but the nights are still cold. Four Maple trees will yield 30-40 gallons of sweet, water-like sap that boils down to make one gallon of maple sugar.

Correction - (The newsroom staffers can't read my handwriting!) The names of Judy and Franz Kopf's children are Brendan & Dana.

Marion Girl Scouts are hosting a pancake breakfast on March 2. The breakfast is supporting the family share campaign. The breakfast is being held at the American Legion on Witherden Rd. in Marion. Admission is $3 for children (10 and under) and adults are $5. Breakfast is being served from 8 a.m. to noon. Pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and home fries. For tickets call Andrea at 1.585.732.0863.

One tea bush will produce tea for at least 50 years.

Milda Crayton is residing with her granddaughter, Charyl Whitcomb in Clifton Springs. She is doing well and continue crocheting those handy scrubbies.
