High school art show opening Sunday The High School Show opens the exhibit season at the Wayne County Council for the Arts. The exhibit showcases the work of talented students in area schools. There will be an opening reception on Sunday, March 2, from 1-4 p.m. Stop by during gallery hours, Thursday Saturday, 1-4 p.m. Wayne Arts is located at 108 W. Miller St., Newark. Call 331.4593 for more information. The gallery season continues in April with the Middle Level Student Art Show, displaying the works of talented middle school artists. Oscar Anderson will exhibit his work in the Wayne Arts gallery in May. In June, local artists will exhibit work on the theme of Gardens, in conjunction with the Newark Rose Festival and Newarkfest. There will be an opening reception for this show at Vintage Gardens Bed and Breakfast on High Street, Newark. Copyright
