Newark crossing guard
honored for 30 years

Chief Richard Bogan gave Linda Peters a certificate from the State Conference of Mayors on Tuesday.

This recognizes her 30 years of service to the Village of Newark as a Police Dept. School Crossing Guard.

Bogan found Peters at her post, near Perkins School on West Maple Avenue, and gave her a 30-year pin and a commemorative clock from the Newark Village Board.
