Lifeguard class at the Clyde-Savannah pool

Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer a Lifeguarding Class for anyone who is 15 or older.

The program will be held at the Clyde-Savannah High School pool, 215 Glasgow Street.

Dates are February 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13; classes will run from 6-10 p.m.

Upon completion of the course, participants will receive American Red Cross certification in Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional Rescuer, which are required for lifeguarding in New York state aquatic facilities.

The cost of the program is $135, which includes a manual, pocket mask, and all training materials.
