Newark Lighthouse Aglow is having a breakfast meeting Saturday, Jan. 26 at 9:30 at the Quality Inn in Newark.

Guest speaker is Ryan Jeffrey, a Newark teen. During a trip with Global Expeditions last summer, his eyes were opened and his life changed by the poverty he encountered in Mexico. As he reached out to the Mexican people, he recognized their need for God and all the daily necessities that we Americans so easily take for granted.

He has decided to go back to Mexico this summer and is making plans and raising funds. He hopes to inspire other teens to look beyond themselves, beyond America, and become personally involved in meeting the needs of others by participating in a mission trip.

This Newark High School student is active in band, chorus and the school play. He plays bass in Sunday morning services at Fresh-Wind Ministries, Newark, as part of the worship team.

Breakfast buffet will be provided by Burnham's Canalside for $8.50 per person. Please RSVP by Jan. 23; call Dottie at 331.0788 or Pat 315.310.7030.
