Tutors needed in four counties

The Home Tutor Office at Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES is looking for middle and high school tutors that are needed throughout Ontario, Wayne, Seneca and Yates Counties.

Home tutors work one-on-one with a student who is temporarily out-of-school from a district within the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES four-county region.

This tutoring takes place at any time of the day that is agreeable to all parties involved (parent, student and tutor); either at a parent supervised home-site or in a public area of a local library or other similar site. Retired professionals (specific to subject) make excellent tutors, as well as individuals knowledgeable in middle and high school subject areas.

Tutors are hired by Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES as temporary, part time employees and typically work several times a week for the length of the students tutoring needs. Additional assignments are given based on mutual agreement. Contact Ava Spader, at 332.7548.
