Fair Queen/Princess pageant
seeks girls to apply

Applications for the Wayne County Fair Queen and Princess Pageant are available at High School and Middle School offices, the 4-H Office and by phoning Gerry Dekdebrun at 926.4926.

All applications must be returned by March 1.

Residents of Wayne County or members of the Wayne County 4-H program ages 12-18 may compete for the title of Wayne County Fair Queen or Princess depending on their age.

Contestants will receive an opportunity to enhance their public speaking and interpersonal skills.

Applicants are required to attend (with parent or guardian) the first meeting on Tuesday, March 4, 6:30 p.m. at the Palmyra Fire Hall, Rt. 31.

The pageant is April 25 at Marion High School. Nine winners will reign over the 153rd Annual Wayne County Fair ... August 11-16 in Palmyra.
