Help Newark Food Closet
when you bring food to the bank

Make a deposit to the local Food Closet when you make a deposit at your Newark bank.

The Newark Food Closet is suffering from a severe shortage of non-perishable items; this happens every summer and the shortage is especially acute this year.

Newark's four banks and one credit union are partnering to alleviate this shortage.

Please make a deposit of a non-perishable food item at your bank now through 15. For each item received, your name will be put in a drawing and you may win a donation of $50 to a local charity of your choice, in your name.

Donation boxes will be located at Citizens Bank, Community Bank, HSBC, Lyons National Bank and Reliant Federal Credit Union.
