Events at the Lyons Public Library

Lyons Public Library will be hosting a number of programs of interest to children, teens and adults.

There will be a Sidewalk Chalk Drawing Contest on Monday, July 7; singer Cathy McGrath of Clifton Springs will hold a concert entitled Singing Bees and Jumping Beings on July 9.

July 10 there will be a storyhour for children ages 3-5 and on July 11 children will be playing Library Bingo. All events for children take place at 1 p.m. in the Community Room.

Families are encouraged to come and take part in the programs which are free and open to the public. Children can still sign up for the summer reading club Catch the Reading Bug if they wish. For more information, call 946.9262.
