Thursday worship service in Williamson

The weekday evening summer services in Williamson will be held Thursdays from July 10 July 31 this year, at 7 p.m. at the Williamson Presbyterian Church, 4057 West Ridge Road (the red brick church).

The services welcome all people, including those who find it difficult to attend Sunday mornings and those for whom once a week is not enough to sing praises to the Lord. If you come at 6:30 p.m. you are welcome to join the worship chorus in rehearsing songs used for the evening.

Pastor Kirk will focus more upon teaching from the Bible and less upon exposition. As the church identifies decreasing knowledge of the Bible as a rising trend in the area, the church is responding by focusing more upon Biblical meaning as it applies to our daily lives.

Each Thursday service will present an opening passage from each of the four gospels, and explain the importance of that passage for us today. For more information call 589.8437.
