Museum holds History at Night Thursday

Patricia Ann Black-BighamThe Wayne County Historical Society will be holding a 'History at Night' on July 17 at 7 p.m.

Patricia Ann Black-Bigham will re-enact her segment, First Kiss, from Pat Gorthy's play Back to Life, which was presented at the Ohmann Theatre in Lyons - to rave reviews - in November.

'I remember watching her in the Ohmann Theatre and thinking, Why isn't this woman on Broadway? I was just riveted to my seat,' said Director of the Museum, Larry Ann Evans.

Evans asked Black-Bigham to speak about some aspect of the life of Migrant Farm workers, as a tie-in with the new exhibit at the Museum, Peppermint & More: Agriculture of Wayne County.

The History at Night series is free and open to the public. The Museum is located at 21 Butternut Street, Lyons.
