Crafts, clubs, events at Newark Library

There are free programs offered at the Newark Library this summer.

The Library is offering Wednesday evening (6:30 to 8) programs for adults.

July 23 is Open Mic Night. Local writers and aspiring writers will have a chance to share their stories, memoirs, essays, letters, or other piece of writing. Participants may also attend simply to listen and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee or tea.

July 30 is all about socializing. Puzzle Club will bring people together in the simple joy of piecing together a puzzle with others - great for seniors or anyone who'd like to get out of the house for an evening of pleasant conversation and light snacks.
