Pioneer Gas Reunion starts The Pioneer Gas Reunion show will be held July 25-26, at the Marion Town Park. Things to look forward are Antique Gas Engine Displays, stone crushing, Dynometer demonstrations, antique tractors and steam engines, and a Flea Market. Antique Tractor pulls will be held on Friday July 25, starting at 6 p.m., Saturday at 11 and 5. Children's Pedal Tractor pull will be on July 26 starting at 11. Food service for the weekend will provided by The Round Boys Catering Company. Pioneer Gas Engine Association is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1964 by Harry Schoff of Honeoye Falls. It promotes restoration and preservation of Antique Gas Engines, Tractors, Steam Engines, Farm equipment and allied equipment. In November, Pioneer Gas Engine Association elected it's new slate of Officers and directors for the 2008 term. The elected officers and directors are: President: Wade Kniffin of Canandaigua, Vice-President: Neal LeClair of Marion, Treasurer: Richard Vanderbrook of Marion, Secretaries: Dani Salerno and Becky Luckman, both of Marion. Directors: Josh Weis, Tom Weis Chris Salerno, Terry Salerno, Dana Luckman, and Dick Simmons all of Marion, Lee MacLaren of Newark, Gary Love, of Canandaigua, and Floyd Matteson, of Williamson.
