Humane Society open house Sunday

Humane Society of Wayne County Annual Open House is Sunday, June 8, from noon to 4.

Lots of activities for the kids, Mercy, the famous painting horse, dog agility demonstrations, 'working' dog demonstration, learn about animal cruelty with e Wayne County District Attorney and the Animal Cruelty Investigators, Dr. Kevin Wolfer from Lyons Vet Clinic will present animal first aid, Suzi's Dog Grooming will offer tips for handling your dog when clipping nails and grooming.

Enjoy the silent auction, sign up for Mutt Strut, buy a PAW, buy books, sign up for the Wayne County Animal Response Team. The Humane Society, 1475 County House Road, is off Route 31, between Newark and Lyons.
