Marion Cabaret Night celebration Marion Junior-Senior High School held its Cabaret Night the last Friday in May. The gymnasium was transformed into an upscale club for the evening, with the lights dimmed, candles lit, and tables set. Refreshments of finger foods and dips were available, as well as a cheesecake dessert. The audience was treated to a number of performances by the Jazz Band, Select Choir, Women's Choir, a Junior girls quartet, and a number of individual performances.
The students displayed their talent for choreography with several of the numbers. The Jazz Band is directed by Troy Nolte, and the vocal groups by Ann Maine, who also accompanied the students at the piano.
