anniversary of 1958 ordination

The Rev. Arthur C. Sziemeister will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination to the ministry on Sunday, June 29 at First Lutheran Church, Broad Street, Lyons.

He was ordained on the Feast of St. Peter and St. Paul, June 29, 1958, in St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Kenmore.

The preacher for the 10 a.m. service will be The Rev. James Corgee, of Lauderdale-by-the Sea, Florida. A brass quartet will provide special music and will augment organ selections by Frederick Tyler Dunn, organist, and the choir.

A catered luncheon will be held after the service.
