The Museum of Wayne County History's new exhibit is Peppermint & More: Agriculture of Wayne County and opened June 27 in their downstairs changing exhibit room.

Peppermint and wheat, apples, pears, peaches, berries, cherries, hay, dairy, corn, tobacco, soy and Through the years this is the agriculture that has sustained and sometimes, as with Peppermint, elevated Wayne County to the status of world leader in that particular produce.

The Museum is located at 21 Butternut Street, Lyons. Hours are Tuesday to Friday, 10 to 4, Saturday 10 to 2:30. 946.4943 or www.waynehistory.org
