'My Fair Lady' helps VOA
Worki
ng Wardrobe Program

Lerner and Loewe's 'My Fair Lady' hits the stage at Lyons Middle/High School March 14, 15 and 16.

Performances of 'My Fair Lady' will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, March 14-15, and at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 16. For information about the service project, please call Sharon Lubitow at 315- 398-8974. For tickets, please call 315-946-9370.

Eliza Doolittle improves her station in life by learning to speak without her Cockney accent. With her improved English and a better wardrobe, she is able to fit in perfectly at a royal ball. The students, parents, faculty and volunteers involved in the show have used the idea of preparing for success as a theme for a show-related service project.

The project is to collect donations for the Volunteers of America Working Wardrobe program. This program enables those with upcoming jobs, internships or job interviews to obtain appropriate career clothing. Volunteers will accept monetary donations and new or gently-used clothing for the Volunteers of America Working Wardrobe program during all performances of 'My Fair Lady.'

The Wardrobe program operates from their facility on Lake Avenue in Rochester and can be reached at 585.647.1150.
