Lyons students will stage 'My Fair Lady'

Lyons students will perform the musical My Fair Lady, directed by Irene Brown, on March 14, 15 & 16 in the Earl Buchanan Auditorium at the High School.

Leading roles this year are played by Greg Maddock, Paige Durham, Lucas Quagliata, Brian Sieling, Emily Stoep, Neil Mathews, and Richelle Coons. Lyons is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first time My Fair Lady was performed on the Lyons High School stage.

A few community members that performed in My Fair Lady 30 years ago will be dancing upon Lyons stage once again! This year a community service project that follows the shows theme of transformation and bettering oneself will be running each day of the musical.

This fundraiser will benefit the Volunteers of Americas Working Wardrobe project that enables program clients to obtain professional clothing for a job, a job interview, or an internship. Monetary and professional clothing donations will be accepted at each performance.

My Fair Lady performance dates at Lyons High School are March 14 and 15 at 7:30 p.m. and March 16 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8 for all reserved seating. You may buy tickets at the door, or call for advanced tickets, 946.9370.
