Brain Injury Support Group meets Tuesdays

The Brain Injury Support Group serves all of Wayne County and meets twice a month in Newark.

It is a support group for persons with brain injury has been established within Wayne County, where adults over age 18 are welcome and understood.

The group meets the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7 p.m. at 165 East Union Street, Suite 218, Newark.

For information, call Jim or Carole at 483.4672.The group embraces all adult persons with TBI/ABI, family members, and caregivers who wish to participate in a discussion group where they will receive help to sort out issues, socialize, and share goals, dreams and ideas.

The group puts a positive face on brain injury and offers hope for a future with purpose.

The mission of the support group is to 'Keep HOPE Alive' for persons with TBI/ABI.
