Lyons Library announces
changes prior to relocation

The Lyons Public Library has developed a timeline of important dates as the library prepares to move to 122 Broad St.

At this time patrons are not able to place 'holds' on Lyons Library materials until after April 14.

March 22 will the last day to check out DVDs.

The last week to check out materials is March 24-29. Patrons are being encouraged to check out more items than normal since the library will be closed for at least two weeks, March 31 to April 12. Materials can be returned through the book-drop at the current library at 67 Canal St. until Sat., April 5.

From Sun., April 6 on all materials must be returned to the new library at 122 Broad Street. The book drop is located near the main entrance (Phelps St. side) at the top of stairs on the right hand side. The proposed opening date of the new library is Mon., Apr. 14. Please note that this timeline is subject to change.
