Library Notes, 1912: - A picture of Lincoln has been purchased with money from the 'pay basket' and very handsomely framed by Farnsworth and Young, house furnishers, as a present to the library. The picture is a copper photogravure in sepia of a bronze statue by the sculpture, Guizon Borgium. Entitled 'The Loneliness of Lincoln,' which stands in front of the Court House in Newark, NJ. This work is thought to be the finest representation of Democracy in statue form. Come and see this beautiful picture. (Librarian)
