The United Church of Marion Chicken & Biscuits Dinner, Monday, March 31, 4:30 p.m. until gone featuring home-baked pies. Take outs available. The United Church of Marion. All adults $7; kids 5-12 $3.50; under five, free.

Family Night - The last PTA Family Night for this school year will be Friday, April 4. The students will have an opportunity to build and write their own book. We will also have a mini book fair available at the school that night.

Families in and around Marion gathered for Easter services and dinners and suppers. This is such a special time to be together.

Hearing rumors that there will be more 'closings' in Marion!

Bethany and Josh Crocker traveled to Clark Summit, PA for a long weekend, visiting family and friends.

  • March 28 - Community Scholarship Carnival - Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
  • April 2 - Fourth-Grade Spring Band Concert, 7 p.m., Elementary School

April 1, 1911: At the meeting of the Presbyterian Church Tuesday the plan submitted by an architect from Los Angeles was accepted. Specifications call for $9,000 edifice, the old church was sold to Jacob Leroy, who will move it and use it as a blacksmith shop.
