Enter a float in Apple Blossom parade

The 49th Apple Blossom Festival will kick off with the Coronation of the Queen, Princess and their courts on May 10 in Williamson.

The carnival will be open May 15-18. There will be music, food and crafters added Friday with street dances Friday and Saturday nights. The excitement continues with the parade Saturday afternoon featuring the South Philadelphia Mummers String Band.

The committee unanimously voted to name the 2008 festival 'Welcome to the Jungle.'
