Meeting and vote at Lyons Library

On Monday, May 5 at 7 p.m. the Lyons Public Library Board of Trustees will hold the annual meeting for the library in the Community Room at the new library at 122 Broad Street. The 2008-2009 budget will be presented to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend.

On Tuesday, May 6 from noon to 8, voters in the Lyons school district will be able to vote on the library's budget and a trustee candidate. To be eligible to vote, you must be at least 18 years old, a United States citizen, and have been a resident of the school district for 30 days prior to the vote. Copies of the budget may be picked up at the library at 122 Broad Street, Lyons.

All absentee ballots must be in by the day of the vote. For information, call 946.9262.
