Oscar Anderson will exhibit selected works in the main gallery at the Wayne County Council for the Arts, during the month of May.

Anderson worked as a graphic designer for Bloomer Bros. Co. in Newark and has been active as an artist for many years. He has painted locally as well as internationally during his long career. Join friends for an opening reception and light refreshments on Friday, May 9, from 5 to 7 p.m.

In the side gallery, we feature paintings by Wolcott artist, rl markham. Markham specializes in trompe l'oeil paintings and murals, as well as smaller works. The galleries and gift shop are open Thursday Saturday, 1 to 4 at 108 West Miller St., Newark.
