Chet Peters program Wednesday Orchards bursting with blooms, the lights and sounds of a carnival, the excitement of marching bands and smiling beauty queens - all conjure up the memory of Williamson in May. These are beloved traditions for anyone who has lived in this small town. Another popular May tradition is Town Historian Chet Peters giving a luncheon presentation at the Williamson Free Public Library. The program is free and open to the public. An optional lunch may be reserved by calling the library by 8 p.m. on Monday, May 19. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, he'll entertain and educate with his encyclopedic knowledge of local history from noon to 1 on May 21 in the Community Room. Copyright
