Costumed kids win prizes at Newark party

The community Halloween Party sponsored by the Village of Newark was held at the Community Center on October 30. A record number of youth attended this year's party.

Community Center Director Mike Muscolino and staff gave out 238 bags of candy to the participants. Mark Loveless donated time to construct a fun house for the participants to enjoy.

Newark teacher Sherry Williams and the High School Honor Society were in costume assisting with the different games and crafts that were setup in the gym. Costume contest winners are pictured. They are named, in random order.
