Scouting for Food Saturday in Williamson

On Saturday morning, Nov. 8, between 9 and noon, Williamson Scouts will be conducting their Scouting for Food service project.

Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts will be knocking on doors and asking the residents to help out with contributions of food items.

All donations will be delivered to the Come-Unity Center for distribution to those in need.

Canned and non-perishable food items are needed. Please do not include any frozen food or glass jars in your donation.

Williamson residents who wish to donate, but would rather not have a scout knock on their door are asked to place your donation in a bag and place it at the end of your driveway or near your front door where it can be spotted by the scouts.

Other options for donations are to stop by the Fire Department or the drop-off Station at the IGA between the hours of 9 and noon. If you are missed and would like to donate, call Robin at 589.9098.
