Newark Garden Club tree program today

The Newark Garden Club will meet next Friday, November 7, the Park Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. Guest are always welcome.

Certified arborist Leo Kamalsky of Newark will be the speaker. He will share his keen interest in trees with a talk on 'Trees, their selection, establishment, advancement and protection' especially as related to Newark.

Hostesses are Betty VanAuken and Nancy Herrington. Sylvia Harding will provide the floral arrangement. Remember to bring Food Closet donations to the November 7 meeting.

Following the program and refreshments, President Jeanne Strobridge will conduct a business meeting.

The District Meeting is set for November 5 at the Burgundy Basin Inn.
