The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross joins other chapters in the Finger Lakes Region in kicking off a Women's Giving Circle.

The Circle is a group of women who contribute between $500 and $5000 to their local Red Cross Chapter on an annual basis. The women are invited to attend special events and receive a custom charm bracelet with the Women's Giving Circle logo.

The first event was held at the home of Elinor Weldgen in Williamson.

Women can get more information about becoming part of this exclusive group by contacting their local chapter office. Women's Giving Circles are now active at the Yates County Chapter of the American Red Cross, as well as the Finger Lakes Chapter which covers Eastern Ontario County and Seneca County.
