Hike down Memory Lane this Saturday, at Beechwood Park

Join Trail Works Inc. members and friends to explore this former scout camp that is now an undeveloped New York State Park. Meet on Lake Road on the west side of Maxwell Creek in Sodus at 10 a.m. on November 15.

This section of road is closed due to work on the bridge over the creek, but you may drive past the barricade and park along the road on weekends.

According to the Finger Lakes Regional Park Commission Director, Tim Joseph, budgetary constraints have put master plan formulation for this property on hold. But the public is welcome to enjoy Beechwood in its current state. Many of the features you'll recall from scouting days are still there.
