Happenings December 6 ... the Marion Museum will be open for the traditional 'Holiday Open House.' Hours are from 10 until 2. Decorations will be a collection of nativity scenes. The Museum was opened in 1976 when our country was celebrating its Bicentennial and we celebrated Marion's 150th Birthday Anniversary. If you are looking for a special gift for a special person for Christmas, may I suggest decorated historic balls for their Christmas tree or a colorful picture of early downtown Marion, ready for framing. We also have cozy coverlets with impressions of historic Marion buildings. Call 926.4436 for more information. Happy Birthday to Ellen Rich, on November 12, from her family and friends. We are happy to know that Milda Crayton has returned home after a recent hospital stay.
