Outdoor writer Kenyon says 'Feed the Birds'

Columnist Chris Kenyon, also Outdoor Promotion Coordinator for the Wayne County Office of Tourism, will be giving a humorous presentation about attracting and feeding wild birds. Join Kenyon at the Wolcott Civic Free Library, New Hartford Street, on November 17, from 7 until 8 p.m.

Bird watching is the fastest-growing outdoor activity in America. According to a survey by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, 51.3 million Americans report that they watch birds. And more are taking it up all the time. There are probably more that actually feed the avian wonders. Be a part of this exciting hobby.

Kenyon welcomes interaction with the audience, so bring your favorite birding story to share. Youngsters are encouraged to attend. Feeding song birds is the ideal way to introduce the young to the wonders of our natural world.
