Who hasn't wanted to leave all responsibilities behind and drive off into the sunset, carefree?

To this add a BMW R1200 ST motorcycle, a vintage highway and the destination of Newport, Oregon and it's the trip of a lifetime.

This trip was a reality last summer for Ron Stone of Ontario. He'll share his adventures at the Friends of the Williamson Free Public Library's 'Program Sandwiched In' on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

Ron and his wife Evelyn traveled the length of Route 20 across America, meeting folks and seeing the country from the unique perspective enjoyed from a bike. Including their side-trip to New Mexico, they covered 7500 miles before returning to Ontario.

It's a scenic tour of the USA and is open to everyone, from noon to 1 in the community room.
