Bazaar in Palmyra opens Thursday

Begin your holiday season with the Historic Palmyra Annual Bazaar. Just come on down and see your friends, bring your family and co-workers to this warm, festive, holiday happening. New vendors offer woven goods, quilted items, tools, candies, Railroad books and more.

Doors open at 10 a.m. on November 20 and 21, until 5 p.m.; open Saturday from 10 to 2.

Location is the Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William Street, Palmyra. Call 597.6981 for additional information or to donate items to our garage sale White Elephant Tables, consign antique items, or offer your favorite bake foods. There will be a luncheon Thursday and Friday at 11:30 until gone.

Vendors will feature local and area artists and shops like the Fudge Square/Candy Corner with delectable candies and special coffees; Laural directly from her store in Canandaigua Cats in the Kitchen, Lisa Wemetts yummy homemade items, Terri Holt's rag rugs and dolls, as well as other hand made wreaths, pictures and crafts; Tastefully Simple, Collectibles and Antiques; tools, garage sale items, fishing tackle, books, and our famous bake sale.

The Alling Coverlet Gift Shop will also be open and is full of unique and special items. Always a winner is our original Palmyra coverlets; add a matching woven pattern pillow in the same color. We have new posters, art work, childrens educational and fun games and puzzles, coverlet pillows; woven goods, Civil War, genealogy, historic event and quilting books. We have special cards, unique Erie Canal bread warmers, great new videos.
