Alternative Energy Trailer a hit at event in Seneca Falls Wayne Technical and Career Center student David Goodman Jr., of Newark, assisted Jim Buck, New Vision Renewable Energy Instructor in presenting information on alternative energy at the Finger Lakes Works ...With Their Hands event. More than 612 high school students had the opportunity to visit the WTCC Alternative Energy Trailer, which produces and measures both solar and wind energy. Leonard Hall, WTCC Metal Trades Instructor, gave demonstrations using a portable CNC machine and informed students on the career opportunities available to them. Student visitors also had the opportunity to view the student-designed mini-chopper which won the Best Built Award in the Mini-Chopper Build Off Competition held at MCC last Spring.
