Rotary Exchange experience for ages 15-25

The Youth Exchange program is a cornerstone of Rotary's effort in promoting international understanding and world peace.

The Newark Club is promoting the three exchange opportunities. A long-term exchange lasts one year, during which the student lives with more than one family in the host country and is required to attend school there. Short-term exchanges vary from several days to several weeks and include homestay experiences.

New Generations exchanges are specialized short-term exchanges lasting from three to six weeks. They are open to young people ages 18-25 and often include a vocational element.

This year 7000 young people will see the world the way it is best seen - personally - through a youth exchange program. For less than the cost of a semester in most universities you can spend a full year in another country.

If you are between the ages of 15-18, or young adult 18-25, in the upper third of your class, academically, and would like to experience world culture first hand... please consider serving as a good-will ambassador in one of Rotary's exchange programs. For more information please contact Linda Werts, 331.6999.
