Christmas market at Grace Episcopal

The Christmas market at Historic Grace Episcopal Church has been a local tradition for over 100 years. This year the Market will be held on December 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. in the Parish House, corner of Geneva and Lawrence Streets in Lyons.

Members of the parish began planning in January for the Market that will feature crafts and Christmas ornaments. Table decorations, wreaths and swags fashioned from fresh evergreens will be available to purchase as will home baked cakes, cookies, breads, pies, jams and jellies.

The famous Yuletide Luncheon offers three types of homemade soups: French onion, Manhattan clam chowder and minestrone. A choice of ham, tuna or egg salad sandwiches, all freshly made, will be available. Dessert consists of homemade pies. A beverage is also included in the price of the lunch.

Each year a raffle is held with prizes made or donated by members of the parish. This year the prizes are a Christmas stocking filled with gourmet foods, a giggling Santa Claus decoration and a filled basket decoration..
