"Nutcracker" to open at
The Smith Opera House

GENEVA — The Studio for the Performing Arts Ballet Company makes its sixth appearance at The Smith Opera House this year with the performance of “The Nutcracker,” featuring Mariah Spacher, 12, of Newark, as Clara.

Spacher has danced for nine years at The Studio for the Performing Arts Ballet Company, taking classes in ballet, pointe, lyrical and jazz. She is in the seventh grade at Newark Middle School.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7. Tickets cost $15 for adults, $10 for senior citizens and students and $5 for children 5 and under. Tickets can be ordered by calling 781-5483 or purchased at the door.

The Smith Opera House is located at 82 Seneca St. in Geneva.
