Fundraiser supper at Newark church Thursday

A spaghetti supper fundraiser is planned for October 9 at Park Presbyterian Church, Maple Court, Newark.

The meal will be served from 5-7 p.m. and offer spaghetti and meatballs (vegetarian available), salad, garlic bread, beverage and dessert. Tickets will be sold at the church office 331.2255, and at the door.

You're invited for a meal, music, fellowship and information about Park's mission programs. Proceeds from this supper will benefit its Mexico Mission Trip in January.

The Rev. J. Christy Wareham, Linda Werts, Tracy Clingerman and Sandra Marcano will join others in the Presbytery of Geneva in travel to the Yucatan.

There they will work and worship with Presbyterian brothers and sisters of faith in Limones, Mexico. Last year the first floor of a pastor's study and educational wing was begun. In January, the team may complete this building or begin work on a new sanctuary. Park Church is establishing a 'partnership' relationship with the Iglesia Nacional Presbiteriana Ar. 'Sinai' Congregacion of Limones, Mexico, a small town south of Cancun.
