Quilters Circle workshop
at Park Church in Newark

The Presbyterian Women's Association Quilters Circle of Park Presbyterian Church is offering 'Quilt in a Day' on Saturday, November 8 from 9 to 3.

This zig-zag table runner project is designed for beginning quilters and should be completed by day's end. If you've always dreamed of learning to quilt this is a fine opportunity to learn and to enjoy the fellowship of other quilters at the same time.

The workshop will be taught by Theresa Volpe, a member of Lake to Lake Quilting Guild and organizer of Rose City Quilters. It will be held at Park Presbyterian Church in Newark.

Fee for the workshop is $25, which includes the quilt kit and lunch. Participants should bring their own sewing machine and sewing supplies. Class size will be limited to 15.

The Women's Quilters Circle began meeting in 2002 and meets Thursday evenings from 6:30 to 8 at the church. Area quilters are always welcome to join.
