Ghost Society will talk about the paranormal Wayne Area Ghost Society will present a discussion on the paranormal this Sunday, Oct. 26 from 3-5 p.m. in the Community Room at the Lyons Public Library. Members will discuss how the group was formed and their own experiences with the paranormal. Topics may include types of buildings investigated, equipment used, debunking alleged hauntings, what is considered evidence and examples of evidence. After the presentation, there will be a question & answer period. This program is free and open to the public. Erin Gardner, who is also the Museum of Wayne County History Educator, is collecting stories and information for her upcoming book on paranormal activity in Wayne County, as well as an upcoming exhibition at the museum on Butternut St. If any property or an item that you own is, in your opinion, haunted, or if it has a spooky story in its past, contact Gardner at egardner@waynehistory.org.
