'Using Flash Drives' class On Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. the Lyons Public Library will hold a class on using flash drives to save documents. Flash drives, also known as thumb drives, are now used heavily to save documents to instead of floppy drives or even cds. Most newer computers no longer have floppy drives and cds have limited capacity (700MB) while flash drives can hold as much as 8GB and can easily fit into a pocket, briefcase, purse or even be hung around the neck. Dennis Watrous will teach this class. There is a $13 fee for this class since each attendee will receive a 1GB flash drive to keep. Registration is required and limited to 10. Call 946.9262 to register.
