Thanks! to Gary McLouth for his delivery of quinces, right from the tree in his back yard.

Happening November 1: The Marion Boy Scout and Cub Scout Food Drive and The Gingerbread Bazaar; bazaar hours are 8:30 to 3.

November 4, Sports Awards Ceremony - 7 p.m. at Junior-Senior High School

November 5, PTA Meeting - 7 p.m., at the Elementary School

November 6, National Honor Society induction

The Fire Department 'Pancakes and more' event is Sunday, Nov. 9 from 8 to noon. This is an all-you-can eat breakfast.

The Plexiglas on the south side stained-glass window at the United Church is now being replaced due to the recent fire at the Clark's Block building. Weather damaged window frames are being repaired and painted during the restoration.

October 30, 1941 - The sixth grade room has a new clock.

On Dec. 6, we are having our 'Holiday Open House' at the Marion Museum. Hours are 10 to 2. Decorations this year will be an assortment of nativity collections, in the spirit of the seasons. Refreshments will be served to guests.

November 3, 1921 - Members of the Baptist Church congregation packed several boxes of clothing to be sent to sufferers in Russia.
