Historical society meets Thursday

Plan to attend the meeting of the Newark-Arcadia Historical Society, on September 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the Newark-Arcadia Museum, 120 High St. (across from the library), Newark. All are welcome to attend.

The program will feature a new DVD on a cruise down the Erie Canal, from Buffalo to the Hudson River. The exhibit , 'Clinton's Ditch That Made Newark Rich!' will be open.

The Historic House Tour is Sept. 20 (10 to 3).

The museum is open Saturdays, 1-3 p.m., and Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m.
