Chapman will lead '09 United Way campaign Heather Chapman, Regional Manager for Reliant Community Credit Union, will be the United Way of Wayne County's 2009 Campaign chairperson. Chapman will spearhead fundraising efforts beginning this fall for the community's annual United Way Campaign, which raises money for agencies that provide services to individuals and families in Wayne . 'We are very excited to have such a community minded individual as Heather taking on this very important role of Campaign Chair,' said Carol Pettis, Regional Director for United Way. Chapman says being named Campaign Chair is a great way to give back and make a positive difference in the community. 'The United Way is a vital part of the County and it does so much to improve the quality of life for many. I am very happy to be a part of the success of this years United Way campaign and look forward to representing the organization,' she said. Chapman attended Keuka College and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. Heather has held several positions with Reliant over the past ten years, most recently as the Regional Manager. The 2008 United Way of Wayne County Campaign raised over $908,000. Chapman is confident that, through the efforts of so many generous businesses and dedicated volunteers, the coming year will be just as successful. The United Way of Wayne County/Red Cross Fall Campaign will kickoff in September and run through the early part of December.
