Storyhour beginning The Lyons Public Library will be starting a 5 week series of storyhours lead by storyhour leader Becky Sawtelle on Thursday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m. in the Community Room at the library. The programs, which may last up to an hour, will include reading stories, arts and crafts, games and show and tell. Children ages 2-5 are welcome to attend along with their caregivers. Caregivers are required to stay in the room with the children. Each week the storyhour will cover a different topic: Oct. 2 fall, Oct. 9 pumpkins, Oct. 16 bats, Oct. 23 Halloween, Oct. 30 Costume party. There is a limit of 10 children per storyhour.
