Dr. Larson moves, plans open house Oct. 2 The Psychology Practice of Dr. Tracy Larson, Psy.D., has moved to 165 E. Union Street, Suite 222. She's planned an Open House for Thursday, October 2 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. They have 19 professionals who help with data collection projects for six publishing companies. The staff seeks volunteers of all ages to try out testing materials (i.e., standardized tests, questionnaires) that are being updated or developed. People are paid for their time at a rate of at least $10 per hour (varies per project). More information can be found at www.drtracylarson.com, by emailing drtlarson@juno.com, or calling 331.6030. During the Open House, they'll be participating in the Jumpstarts Read for the Record. This is a national campaign designed to break the world record for the number of adults and children reading the same book on the same day, while also working to break the cycle of illiteracy. Members of the MOMS Club of Newark/ Palmyra will be on hand to help read the campaign's official book, Corduroy, to any children who attend the Open House. In partnership with Jumpstart and the Pearson Foundation, Dr. Larson supports the importance of early education and literacy development and encourages the entire community to participate in Jumpstarts Read for the Record campaign on October 2. To sign up to participate on your own, go to www.readfortherecord.org Copyright
