Wayne County Fair offers scholarships

PALMYRA - The Wayne County Fair announced that six $1,000 scholarships, sponsored by the New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs and the New York State Showpeople's Association, will be awarded to high school seniors residing in New York state, who are active at the Wayne County Fair and are planning to pursue a degree in a field related to agriculture, fair management or the outdoor amusement business. The scholarships are also available to students currently enrolled in college pursuing those degrees.

Applications are available at www.nyfairs.org.

Applications must be received no later than Friday, April 10 to Wayne County Fair Office at P.O. Box 85 in Palmyra 14522.
